Buttock, 3 cun lateral to sacral hiatus
Needling Depth
1.5–3 cun
Deep needling — confirm anatomy first.
Always palpate landmarks and angle away from vital structures. Chest/neck: oblique, shallow only.
Trigger-Point Link
Piriformis — referred to Down the back of the thigh; can compress the sciatic nerve.
Bladder Meridian Flow
Water · Yang · peak 3–5 PMQi flowing along the Bladder — direction of animation reflects channel flow.
